    Glucerazim is intended for long-term enzyme replacement therapy in patients with a confirmed diagnosis of type 1 Gaucher disease (without neuronopathic manifestations) or type 3 (with chronic neuronopathic manifestations) who have clinically significant non-neurological manifestations of the disease.

    Non-neurological manifestations of Gaucher disease include one or more of the following symptoms:

    • anemia (after exclusion of other causes, such as iron deficiency),
    • thrombocytopenia,
    • bone disease (after exclusion of other causes, such as vitamin D deficiency),
    • hepatomegaly (enlarged liver) or splenomegaly (enlarged spleen).
